While God is personal and cares for every individual, He is also
concerned about nation building. In the Old Testament, He promised to
make Abraham into a great nation. It is through people that God builds
up nations.
Nations are also exalted through righteousness (Proverbs 14:34). When God’s people are righteous and engage in acts of righteousness, the nation will prosper. But when they do not do their part, the nation will suffer. As God’s people, we need to think globally and nationally, but act locally by responding to the needs around us. Can we allow a weak and hungry person to pass us by without helping? The Bible tells us that when we do for one of the least of these brothers, we are doing it for Christ (Matthew 25).
Everyone dreams to succeed in life. No one dreams to fail. For some people, their dreams could have been shattered because of an error in life. With the right support and hope, dreams can be restored and come alive again. We would like to guide everyone who has had a negative experience to the path of second chance that is offered by God.
A nation is built through people, one at a time. It is built through helping one child through school, one addict to be free of addiction, one ex-prisoner to find employment, one disabled to learn new life skills and one AIDs patient to find hope. It is helping one child, one youth, one man and one woman to take one right step forward at a time.
Established in 1997, Community Excel Services (CES) have steadily expanded its services to cover a broad spectrum of community groups. Employment Point, which seeks to help homeless people integrate back into the workplace, is our newest service. This is a practical way of restoring broken dreams. We invite you to partner with us in our efforts to help, restore and build people up to be strong again for our nation. As you give of your time and resources, you will surely be blessed.
