Our Goals for 2009
INTERCESSORY & PRAYER MINISTRY
- To raise 200 intercessors to provide intercessory prayer support and partnership to all ministries,
missions, church-wide events and weekend celebrations - To raise 100 prayer groups to anchor the 24/7 prayerwatch
- To have 50 new graduates for DUMC Prayer Track
EVANGELISM
- For 1490 to know Christ and these be assimilated into cells
- To equip all cell members in personal evangelism
SCHOOL OF LEADERSHIP (SOL)
- To have 250 new graduates for SOL Level 1
- To have 500 new graduates for SOL Level 2
- To have 25 new graduates for SOL Level 3
COMMUNITY EXCEL SERVICES (CES)
- To introduce and offer seminars, trainings and courses related to community service and community development for greater awareness
- To encourage greater integration of CES with all zones, through cell, sub-zone and zone projects
- To build capacity of existing staff and helpers involved in CES, through equipping seminars and continuing education
MISSIONS
- To train 75 MCPP-1 and 24 MCPP-2 candidates
- To send 4 MCPP-2 graduates for MIT (Mission Intensive Training)
- To raise 2 MCPP-3 candidates
- To send regular short-term mission teams to Cambodia, China, Myanmar, Nepal, Sarawak and
Orang Asli, West Malaysia - To send 2 career and 6 tent-making cross-cultural missionaries
- To organize 2 missions weekends and 1 missions conference
YOUR PERSONAL PARTICIPATION IN FULFILLING THE CHURCH VISION & GOALS WOULD BE:
- Use your spiritual gift(s) in your cell to build up the group and to reach out to others
- Engage in serious prayer and intercession individually and corporately
- Give sacrificially of your finances. You can be sure you will never outgive God
- Avail yourself for full-time service - either short-term or long-term
